Hi everybody, this time on a Wednesday hehe! I hope to get used to blogging more than once a week again now, I really missed it!

Autumn is here in full bloom – from endless rainy cold windy days to golden October sparkles and a few days ago this sunset magic surprised me when I was at my parents, completely distracted doing laundry (very glamorous, I know!). A slight look outside the window of the facility room and I could not resist to grab my camera and enjoy this magic for the next half an hour outside… how beautiful life in this world can be!

I always thought I was the summer-vibes-all-year girl, living in a bikini and never ever tired of too much sun and warmth… usually, I stay by the Mediterranean (the southern part!) in July and August and never do I complain about heat or lack of shadow but this year I realize that I seem to get used to the seasons and its changes and try to enjoy (not only: take) them. Maybe this is somehow an obligation now since I spend so much more time here in Germany?

I told you weeks/months ago about my next winter stay southern, I was so much looking forwards to it, but last week had to make a turnaround decision to skip it this year because of my parents’ current health status. My gut feeling decided to stay here, to be there for them if they need me, hopefully they don’t but you never know and I feel much better knowing that I am 300 kilometers away from them instead of 2500 km.

I am very very lucky that I can work from different places, get used to new work spaces quickly and that I am able to put family first if needed, not giving up my career, but acting from the position of being able to work 24/7 (and doing it most of the time) and therefore squeezing in a few hours of family time whenever I feel like it. This is my little reward for all the Saturday nights and Sundays Ralf and me work all day/night!

At the moment, since I am back in Hamburg, I try out different “most productive” work periods – like now, a super early post, or mid-day, or late afternoon or at night… I just play with it to find out what will work out best for me the upcoming busy Christmas season. Since I recently joined the YouTube game now more ambitiously, it has changed a lot in my usual routines. But don’t worry, next to autumn sunsets in North Germany you’ll still find a loooot of summertime-related vlogs from the Mediterranean in my playlist!

Now coffee and breakfast are awaiting me, after trying out to blog at 6 .am., certainly for the first time in my life or at least in years haha! Have a nice day! <3
